Fans probably desire pomp and circumstance. They'd probably pick that Chris Evans' final hours of daylight on the set of Avengers 4 included the Star-Spangled Avenger delivering a knockout blow to Thanos (Josh Brolin), or reuniting considering his beloved Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). But Evans says his final hours of daylight on set wasn't all that, explaining:
It was something truly stupid, it was something truly dumb. Which I next probably can't manage to pay for away. Well, you know, it was reshoots, for that reason you're undertaking these little picks and pops, and it's just little things that they need. It might have been a lineage to Paul Rudd. He wasn't there, but it was a stupid line. The lineage wasn't memorable to me [laughs]. The hours of daylight was more memorable than the line.
While attending ACE Comic undertaking in Chicago higher than the weekend, Chris Evan opened going on to attendees (via ComicBook) not quite his final hours of daylight shooting footage or what will eventually become Joe and Anthony Russo's Avengers 4. (Any hours of daylight Marvel wants to manage to pay for us a title on that one, we'd be cool.)
Naturally, Chris Evans' final hours of daylight wouldn't add together the undertaking of his final scene. These movies are shot out of order, and the bulk of Avengers 4 (we believe) was filmed at the same times as Avengers: Infinity War. This allowed actors to stamp album the bulk of their scenes at once, but as Evans notes, reshoots and pick-ups are necessary.
What's still shocking to me is that we haven't seen a single frame of footage from Avengers 4. Not a teaser. enormously not a full trailer. It's a summer blockbuster that's on the subject of seven months away, and yet, the entire production remains shrouded in mystery.
Even considering a key cast advocate considering Chris Evans reveals a little bit of guidance on the subject of the thing he filmed on his final day, everyone who is share of the Marvel hype machine knows that nothing can be revealed, because all word is analyzed and overanalyzed by sites (like ours).
Will this be the end of Chris Evans' control as Steve Rogers, aka Captain America? We thought so, but after Tweeting a leave-taking of sorts to the feel -- and the MCU -- Evans soft-shoed backwards to tell that he doesn't know if his times considering the shield is done. Avengers 4 appears to be the end of the road for a number of our key Founding Avengers. Will Hulk, Cap, Iron Man and Thor shape on into all comes after Avengers 4? (We know Black Widow's getting a solo movie, but even that might be a prequel.)
If it's the end, we can abandoned thank Chris Evans for his service. We can't imagine any other actor in the iconic role of Captain America, and we can't wait to look what the Russos have in deposit for him, and for the combined team. Avengers 4 will in theaters on May 3... or earlier, if it follows the playbook usual by Avengers: Infinity War.
